Dunkin' Donuts Feasibility Study

During my fall semester of junior year, I participated in the College of Business Administration (CBA) Integrated Core Program. This program was a unique classroom experience in which our class was grouped into semester-long teams of five students. While taking our basic marketing, management, and finance courses, we were simultaneously assigned three ambiguous project charges. These projects required us to critically think and integrate all of our course knowledge to solve the business problem presented to us. This pitch deck is the deliverable for our second project, which was a feasibility study of a second Dunkin’ Donuts location in the La Crosse area. We were tasked with finding a location and conducting the research necessary to determine the feasibility of that location making a profit in seven years.

Our entire team contributed to the location choice and the secondary research. My main contributions to this pitch deck were design, copy writing, and the information on brand re-positioning. We handed in this pitch book and presented a high-level overview of our findings to the client (our professors). They were satisfied with the conclusion and the research behind our recommendations. This experience taught me so much, especially in regard to teamwork. I learned how effective teams capitalize on each individual’s strength and uses them to create a better product than ever possible by each individual alone.
